Decent Day For Bam Adebayo - Led Team USA In Scoring, Promptly Hopped On Twitter To Make Fun Of Brian Windhorst For Suggesting He'd Be Benched

We know Team USA won yesterday because it's the Olympics. We shouldn't ever lose in the Olympics, especially with this team, no matter if Steve Kerr is being bullied into starting Jayson Tatum or not. But somewhat shockingly, Bam was the leading scorer. He was awesome. Dude just knows how to roll to the rim, finish, make the right baseline cut, he's good. There I said it. Bam Adebayo is good at basketball.

But it's not what he did on the court. Back to the Steve Kerr being bullied thing. I don't know why he felt the need to start Jayson Tatum like a middle school coach who got yelled at by parents. Everyone knows Kevin Durant is the better player. Can we bully Kerr into starting Durant? Anyways, when it was announced after the DNP that Tatum would play, everyone started trying to guess who would be the odd man out against South Sudan. Windhorst suggested that Bam would be benched:

Not sure why Bam would get benched in that scenario. A guy who can defend, is decent at staying on guards on the perimeter with his size and has experience playing in FIBA? Seems like a guy I'd want out there! Anyways, part of being on Team USA is having fun. It's about mocking people who somehow doubt this team. Bam didn't waste any time, he got back to the locker room and made fun of Windhorst for suggesting such a thing

I love it. These guys are over in France, plenty of off days and need something to entertain themselves. Go make fun of people and hold people accountable for being wrong. No problems with that. Plus Bam has been hanging out with Kevin Durant, he was bound to hop on Twitter and make fun of people.

Gotta learn every part of the game when you're surrounded by greatness.
